Oak Skirting Board

Why not compliment your engineered oak flooring with a high quality, matching oak skirting board?

Available in 4 distinctive styles, these oak skirting boards measure 165mm tall and are 20mm thick.  Lengths tend to be in excess of 2.4m and are accompanied with free matching oil and oak pellets with all flooring orders.

The choices available (from left to right) are:

  • Ogee (pronounced O.G.)
  • Bullnose
  • Torus
  • Chamfer


For customers who require a specific profile and depending on the amount required, a full matching service is available should you need this.

Oak Thresholds

Oak thresholds are sometimes needed at the base of doors to hide expansions gaps in oak flooring or are used as a border when changing for oak flooring to carpet or tile.

These can be made to order as each flooring covering may be a different thickness.

Elastic Glues

Glues are sometimes required to stick your oak flooring down to a level [tipso tip=”A sub floor is the floor directly below oak floorboards. This may be joists, screed for under floor heating, concrete, chipboard or plywood”]sub floor[/tipso].

Over time, these glues have been manufactured to a high standard allowing an elastic type property to aid the installation of oak flooring.

Finishing Esmo Oils

Understanding the finish of your oak floor is paramount is been able to maintain and repair your floor.

All oak flooring is manufactured with 2 coats of UV high quality Osmo oils.  This means there are only 2 times you will need to use the oil.

  1. Another coat of oil may be be necessary if you have light scratches and the normal floor cleaning isn’t sufficient.
  2. Heavy wear and tear over time, may create worn patches and the floor will need to be re-oiled to bring it back to its original appearance.
